The Lynx are on a 3-game losing skid (SU and ATS) and badly needs a win to stay in playoff contention. They need to do something quick..... and winning against Connecticut would help their cause. The Sun are on the last leg of their 4-game road trip with only a win to show for in a blowout game against Detroit. However, Connecticut was blownout by an average of 10.5 points in the two other games.
Minnesota finds itself in a good situation playing against a tired road weary team that could not wait to go back to Connecticut.
