Bitter-sweet win
Sunday, August 09, 2009
Yes, it was La Salle who won their match-up against Ateneo, ATS wise atleast. But oddly enough, I felt bad winning, I would have rather lost my bet than cashing in. The Archers blew an 8-point lead at the half and found their 4-game streak come to an end.
The turning point was the unsportsmanlike fouls on Webb and Atkins. Instead of getting a technical free throw from Austria's taunting, the ball was turned over to Ateneo for two freethrows and possession. With that play, Webb turned from hero to goat. Well, there is still a next time. Animo La Salle!
